I know what you’re going to try to do. You’re going to try to trap me up in logic. I take a strong stance against your stance that I make no sense. You are the one that doesn’t make any sense. The stoics wanted me to be calm. The sceptics are doing them one better and telling me to be tranquil.
Scepticism is like modern art. It captures the imagination, and it shouldn’t be examined too closely. That spoils the whole thing. I make the point that you go on and on about some sort of dogmatic certainty you have. And that droning on and on is tedious to listen to.
The sceptic simply wants to get out of a pointless philosophical discussion and get on with the things that matter.
You can have your dogma save you. My good night sleep, healthy meal, and light exercise will have me win the day.
