My posts have been a little bit here and a little bit there. That is a good thing. The Stoics have me thinking. Descartes (his friends called him Dezi Cartes) has me thinking. The portrait painters have me thinking. The Carona virus has me thinking. Plus, I have been short on sleep. Duolingo has me pensando. Meditation has been the one thing that calms the violent waters of my advanced mind.
This has been a lot to process. That is a good thing. Maybe even the best of things. How about them apples? Breakthroughs come when we least expect them. In ways we did not expect. I am on the verge of something great. We are on the verge of something great.
Literally every local musician in the Charlotte area that I come across on YouTube is excellent. This woman has a great voice. I love her playing guitar. She has another one on YouTube where she is playing violin. I’m gunna listen to that one next.
Yoga Nidra is something that was crazy intense the first time I tried it. When the instructor told the class to set the intention, i felt like screaming my intention. Like my emotions were going to break out of my chest. It made me realize how emotional I am.
These hypnosis meditations are so intense. He has a few of these. They are all excellent. The photograph thing is really incredible. I don’t know why it works so well but it does. I really don’t want to know how it works. It might ruin it to know how my mind is being tricked into letting go the things that have a grip on me.
This guy Michael Flynn is a North Carolina guy. He is very good. You should give him a listen. He was scheduled to be playing in Charlotte, but no shows are going on right now. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
Here is a quick five minutes to set intentions for the day. If you let yourself buy-in to these kinds of meditations, they really do make a difference. At first, I’d try to set impressive intentions. Now, I try to set simple ones.
